JaJa Holding Co. has a partnership with the most professional manufacturers in the world. This is because they carry the highest quality and offer the most diverse range of rolling paper there is. For this reason each and every one of our customers can pick a product that suits them best.
The rolling paper is made from thin and lightweight “rag fibres” (non-wood plant fibres) such as flax, hemp and rice straw. The paper is available in rolls and rectangular sheets of varying sizes, and has a narrow strip of natural Arabic gum along one long edge. This strip can be transparent, coloured or unbleached. It has a high filler content and a basis weight of maximum 12 to 18 g/m².
Hemp is one of the strongest plant fibres in the world. Hemp paper has gained a great deal of popularity over the years because of the “tree-free” nature of this product. They burn very smoothly and are in general a little heavier, making them easier to roll tobacco, especially heavier or larger cuts.
Rice paper is made from rice plant fibres. They often burn very slowly allowing the smoker to savour the experience. Originating in Japan and China, this type of paper has become popular all over the world. However, rice paper will often still contain hemp fibres as well.
Flax is a fibre taken from the Linum or linaria plant, which is commonly used to make linen. Flax is becoming more popular as it creates a smooth silkiness blend in the paper. This creates a pleasurable rolling experience, while imparting little to no unwanted additional taste to its smoke.
